厦门市国际货运代理协会

厦门市国际货运代理协­会成立于1999年5月18日，是中国国际货运代理协会在厦门市的对应机构，并代表其在厦门市行使中华人民共和国商务部赋予中国国际货运代理协­会的各项职能。厦门市国际货运代理协­会是在厦门市民政局登记注册的社团法人，是由厦门市国际货运代理企业自愿组成的、非营利性的、以民间形式代表厦门货代行业参与国际经贸运输事务并开展国际商务往来的区域性行业组织，她接受厦门市贸发局的业务指导和厦门市民政局的监督管理。协会目前共有会员120多家。

作为联系政府与会员之间的纽带和桥梁，协会的宗旨是：协助政府部门加强对国际货代行业的管理，维护国际货代行业的经营秩序，推动会员企业间的横向交流与合作，依法维护本行业利益，促进对外贸易和国际货代业的发展。

协会的成立是厦门市国际货运代理发展史上具有里程碑意义的大事，标志着政府对该行业的管理进入了一个政府监管与行业自律并重的新阶段。协会将以行业服务为中心，围绕“沟通政府、服务企业、协­调利益、促进发展”的工作方针，在加强行业自律与协调管理、营造平等竞争的市场秩序、推动货代业与国际接轨、提高货代行业整体发展水平等方面发挥积极的作用，努力为厦门对外经济贸易的快速发展作出贡献。

协会宗旨：遵照“沟通政府、服务企业、协调利益、促进发展”的工作方针，协­助政府主管部门执行对厦门市的国际货代行业企业的管理，维护厦门市国际货代行业的经营秩序。

Xiamen International Freight Forwarders Association

XIAMEN INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT FORWARDERS ASSOCIATION (called “XIFA” for short) was set up on May 18, 1999. It is the corresponding organization of CIFA (China International Freight Forwarders Association) in Xiamen city, and exercises all CIFA’s functions vested in by the Ministry of Commerce. It is a commonalty registered at the Bureau of Civil Affairs of Xiamen, and a nonprofit institution of which is formed by the volunteer of international freight forwarder enterprise. On behalf of Xiamen regional freight forwarding industry, XIFA, as a non-governmental organization takes part in international trade and transportation affairs and carries out international commercial intercourses. XIFA’s business is under guidance of the Committee of Trade and Development of Xiamen, and XIFA accepts supervision from the the Bureau of Civil Affairs of Xiamen. Now, XIFA has over 120 members.

As a tie and bridge between government and members, XIFA aims to assist the government to enhance the regulation of our freight forwarder industry; to maintain the business order; to promote the interchange and cooperation among the member enterprises; to protect the interest of the industry according to law; and to boost the development of foreign trade and international freight forwarder industry.

The establishment of XIFA stands as a landmark of development history of the international freight forwarder in Xiamen City. It is a mark of a new phrase of which the city government manages the industry reaching to lay equal stress on both government supervision and industry autonomy. The industry service is our center. We work on principle of “linking with government, service of enterprise, harmonious interests and promoting development”. We play an active role in enhancing industry autonomy and the harmonious management, creating an equal competitive market order, bringing forwarder industry in line with international practice, improving the level of the integrated development of the municipal freight forwarder industry. We contribute in promoting the fast development of our municipal foreign trade.
